When Shrey Aggarwal started The Belgian Waffle Co in 2015, he was confident that he had a good business model on hand. However, neither he, nor the company’s CEO, Ankit Patel, had imagined that the QSR would grow by over 300% within three years.
Currently, the company has over 185 outlets across 45 Indian cities and plans to roll out at least 10 stores every month. Having touched sales of almost INR 100 crore, Patel said that The Belgian Waffle Co is targeting 50% growth going forth. And to do this, it will leverage technology and data to drive business whilst expanding to newer markets.
