BuildTrack to expand its reach globally
BuildTrack, a Mumbai based IoT product solution company to target tier II & III cities
BuildTrack, one of the leading brand in smart automation and Internet of Things (IoT) product solution, aims to expand its reach across India from metros to tier-II and tier-III cities. The company is also expanding internationally within the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) countries, through established distributors in these markets.
BuildTrack offers smart automation solutions driven largely by the IoT. These solutions allow control and monitoring of various electrical devices such as lights, fans, AC’s, TVs, media devices, motors, pumps, etc. They help monitoring a whole range of sensors, such as for smoke, gas leak, carbon dioxide, door intrusion, glass break and much more. These solutions offer greater safety, security, comfort and convenience and efficiency to the occupants of homes, offices, hotels, hospitals, etc.
Dr. Narendra Bhat, President, BuildTrack, said, “The digital landscape in the area of automation is evolving rapidly. BuildTrack is constantly examining options to integrate the newer features into our solutions to facilitate more choices and conveniences for our customers. For instance one of the latest changes is the introduction of voice assistants by Google (Home) and Amazon (Alexa), which are serving as an addition to other interfaces like smart apps, switches and remotes. BuildTrack has integrated these voice assistants as part of our solutions and we are constantly evaluating other such developments.”
The automation technology is rapidly developing and becoming more economical. Furthermore, the ubiquitous presence of the internet and the availability of smartphones has prompted the rapid increase in the requirement of smart homes, hotels, hospitals and the like, where devices can be remotely controlled, their status monitored or sensors can be monitored, to help enhance the way they live or do business. This interest has developed globally and has prompted BuildTrack to participate in this area.
While talking about market strategy for tier II & III cities, Bhat said, “We have gone to market in all cities using well established local companies that serve as our distributors. These distributors are offered training at our offices to provide them with the necessary know-how on how to install and maintain our solutions. We also have regional offices in many metros that provide technical support on an ongoing basis to these distributors to help them serve the needs of their customers better. We have had a tremendously positive response to our products and services in both the bigger metros and the smaller cities that we serve.”
